G & N Engineering Inc. has been servicing the greater Boston area in the design, installation, and service of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning equipment for over 30 years. We are looking for highly motivated and dedicated people who possess mechanical skills in commercial and/or residential HVAC. Job requirements include but are not limited to: - Travel within 80 miles of the greater Boston area - Two years field experience preferred with Commercial or Residential HVAC - Ability to; Work in outside conditions, tight spaces, lift 50 pounds independently, use power and hand tools, safely climb and balance on a ladder and work in elevated/high locations - Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Receive all materials and equipment required for each job, confirm and load them into a company vehicle - Strong understanding and preferred experience of: *Nailing and framing outlets * HVAC functions, ductwork modifications and design *Duct connection, installation, flex to code and AMI quality standards *Hole Cutting Metal & Wood - Must be able to perform: *Installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings *Must be able to support to other team members to be able to complete tasks on time as instructed by management Benefits include but are not limited to: - Paid holidays, vacation and sick days based upon tenure - Competitive salary - Company vehicle and gas - On-going training - 401K Matching Job Types: Full-time, Internship Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
