This is for information due to a recent experience-- not a rant:) Postings for Maine Coons without photos AND written vet verification shown in the post are very suspicious because this is a super-super-expensive, distinct breed-- not just a stray, wild, or wild-colored cat. Adults are huge & can easily be over 20" long nose-to-tail, and easily 12-20+ lbs in normal weight (males are generally larger). It takes about 3 years for them to be 'full-grown.' People calling strays MC may just not know any better, OK -- but anyone claiming to have a MC and then wanting your personal email up front before showing proof on public Craigslist is probably (ya think?) a scammer. Check genuine info on MC cats online & see for yourself. Don't get scammed.
