Applicants MUST Uses hand lines to lower limbs and equipment Unload, lays out, prepares, and stows materials, tools, and equipment at the worksite. Works from the ground using handsaws, poles saws. Drives trucks or operates other equipment as assigned, such as log movers, stump grinders, etc. Services trucks and equipment. Keeps trucks and other assigned equipment in a neat and orderly fashion. Reports the need for repairs to truck and equipment to crew leader. Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area, staying in frequent communication with workers aloft. Participates in daily job and safety briefings. Adheres to all industry and company safety standards and policies including the use of PPE at all times. Helps enforce job safety practices. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Performs related work as assigned. Due to the inherently dangerous nature of the industry and requirements to work with or around hazardous equipment, employees must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time. Qualifications: Operates and maintains chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment in a safe manner Prior experience with trimming, limbing, rigging, chipper and saw operation. A clean valid Driver’s License is required Must be able to safely drive a company vehicle. Must be able to carry 50lbs at a minimum and work outside in all weather conditions +++++ FENCE +++++ FENCE INSTALLERS Fence Installers are responsible for setting up all kinds of fences for their customers, security fencing, boundary fencing for homes Job Summary Responsible for building fences around property, including residences, farms, and buildings. Measures square footage to ascertain length of fence, and erects fence. Primary responsibilities • Measure square footage of yard or property that fence will enclose. • Establish fence line with customer. • Saw metal or lumber and cut tubing. • Operate small battery operated hand tools • Measure fence lines and posthole positions. • Align posts using plumb bobs or levels. • Insert metal tubing into rail supports. • Dig postholes, using spades, posthole diggers, • Mix and pour concrete around bases of posts, or tamp soil into postholes to embed posts. • Attach fence rail supports to posts and secure tightly. • Attach wire, wire mesh, or chain link fencing between posts. • Assemble gates and attach gates to fence. • Use metal sleeves to complete top fence rails. • Build picket fences using pointed slats and rails.
