Photowalk: West Seattle Waterfront in Partnership with Fujifilm

Join us for a photowalk, in partnership with Fujifilm. Spring is here! Longer days are on the way and it's a great time to capture our city in beautiful light. During this event Kate and Geoff (from Fujifilm!) will lead the group to a few spots along the park area, with a focus on photographing landscapes and cityscapes. There are also opportunities to capture urban landscapes and street photography too. Views include: Elliott Bay, the Seattle Skyline, the West Seattle Waterfront, Pier and more. Sunset is about 8:30PM on this evening, our meeting time is designed to give us some great light, and be able to capture golden hour and sunset too. LOANER GEAR Geoff will have a sampling of Fujifilm gear for attendees to try. This will be on a first come, first serve basis with the opportunity to swap in gear to try different lenses or bodies. Gear will be cleaned between uses! BONUS MATERIALS Kate will create and share a mini-ebook with tips on creating landscape and cityscapes. SAVINGS! COVID Awareness & Precautions: Limited attendeesSocial distancing Loaner Gear will be cleaned between usersMasks will be required for all attendeesMasks & Hand sanitizer will be available to those who aren't able to supply their own. LOCATION, TRANSPORTATION, & PARKING We will meet at Seacrest Park in West Seattle between Seacrest Park Cove 1 and Cove 2. There's a path there, we will start on the slight hill that is right there. Check out and save this pinned map, if you would like. Water Taxi We know there are some issues in getting to West Seattle, so one of the easiest ways may be the Seattle Water Taxi. It has times running into the evening, it's easy to get to from Pier 50 and a fun ride across the bay. It drops you off at Seacrest Park/Pier where we will meet. Parking If you want to drive there is street parking along Harbor Ave SW, please use the street parking, instead of the tiny lot near Marination Ma Kai as that lot has a time limit on it.
