All day class on raising rabbits. Come and join us for an all-day rabbit workshop. Participants should expect to stay all day. Bring a lunch, snacks, and beverages and plan to leave with a packet full of information (including forms, handouts, etc). RSVPs will be limited- please only RSVP "Yes" if you plan to attend. Some of the topics we will discuss will be nutrition, breeding, weaning, keeping records, pedigrees, how to pick the best kits in a litter, buying and selling rabbits, showing rabbits, rabbit health, rabbitry equipment, housing, colony raising, raising for meat, pelts and/or show, handling rabbits, rabbit SOPs, typing rabbits, sexing rabbits, first aid and herbal treatments, tattooing, quarantine, etc. Some of this class will be lecture-based and some will be hands-on. This is the ONLY TIME this class will be offered in 2021. Those who are interested may stay after this workshop to watch a rabbit processing demonstration and do some hands on activities. This all-day workshop will rarely be offered, so take advantage of it while you can. Even if you have attended any of our workshops in the past you are welcome to attend this one. This event takes place in my barn which is not weather controlled- please dress appropriately. PRICING: $10/person- that literally covers my costs including the cost of my printing the 50+ page handout which you will take home with you. Refunds will ONLY be issued if the class is cancelled. SPECIAL NOTE: We will be accommodating current Covid-19 regulations at the time of the event, including masking and spacing tables appropriately if required.
