Join French Horn player Dan Nebel and pianist Angela Steiner in a concert featuring: Czerny, Francaix and a Frances Meier premiere Dan Nebel is an accomplished French hornist, church organist, music director, and educator whose diverse career has taken him across the United States. Currently the principal horn of the Monterey Symphony and organist at Burns Memorial United Methodist Church, he previously served as a bandsman with the United States Air and held positions with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra, North State Symphony, and Fort Collins Symphony. Nebel has directed church music programs for two decades and teaches privately around Denver. Additionally, he is a NASM-certified personal trainer and yoga instructor and completing a Doctorate at the University of Northern Colorado specializing in postural studies of musicians. Angela Steiner is a music director, pianist, voice coach, copyist, orchestrator and arranger based in Denver, CO. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, she has played for and conducted at theater companies all over the United States. Currently, she is the music director for RATTLESNAKE KATE a new musical by composer Neyla Pekarek and book writer Karen Hartman which will premiere at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts in the near future. Favorite shows she's worked on include: The Who's TOMMY, SWEENEY TODD, INDECENT and ROCK OF AGES. Previously she has music directed/conducted for Asolo Repertory Theater, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, Little Theater of the Rockies, The University of Northern Colorado, Rocky Mountain Theater for Kids, Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, Midtown Arts Center, Magic Moments and numerous other local Colorado and Kansas theaters. Besides being a musical theater music director, Angela has also continually music directed, lead choirs and played organ for different churches. She was on staff for many years with the musical theater department at the University of Northern Colorado where she taught multiple classes as well as voice and piano and music directed all the theatrical productions. Angela holds a bachelors degree in piano from Wichita State University and a masters in collaborative piano from the University of Northern Colorado.
