Join us to do a cleanup around University Lake near LSU in Baton Rouge and get a free tree to plant in your yard!
Join us to clean up as we walk around University Lake in Baton Rouge . Volunteers get a FREE native tree, while supplies last, or simply register to pick up a free tree. Volunteer and community service hours will be provided to those upon request as well!
Pre-registration is highly encouraged if you are interested in receiving a tree as they are limited! Masks and social distancing required during the event, for all partcipants (even if you are just coming to pick up a free tree.) All LSU student attending will need to complete the LSU Daily Symptom Check survey prior to arriving. Non-LSU attendees will have temperature scanned at check-in booth. If you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 please stay home and do not attend.
You can also sign up to receive info about the Blessed Earth Southeast #LivingWaters program and the 1 Mississippi River Citizens program. Planting trees and cleanup events help protect and restore the Mississippi River and the surrounding watershed.
