Scope of Responsibility: As delegated by Job Foreman, Field Superintendent, Operations Manager. Efficiently carry out paint or flooring related duties in a professional, workmanlike manner. To carry out tasks within the time frame prescribed by the Job Foreman, Field Superintendent, Operations Manager. Help all crew members with various tasks throughout the day. Duties and Responsibilities: Arrive to the job or shop (if requested) in time to start work prior to 7:00 a.m. daily, unless otherwise specified by foreman or supervisor Must possess the capability to learn how to move and use ladders and power equipment (i.e. sanders, sprayers, 24’ ladders, etc.). Must have an understanding of preparation procedures such as sanding, caulking, sealing, etc. Must show an ability to learn all painting or flooring functions (i.e. paint windows, doors, soffit, fascia, shutters, etc.) Provide your own transportation to and from the jobsite or meet your foreman when possible. Be ready at pick-up/meeting time, if you are late you are on your own to get to the job If you drive with a foreman, bring your lunch. Don't expect anyone to go out and get your lunch Be reliable, present a good work ethic, high integrity and drug free. Clean presentable appearance expected at all times to the best of your ability Maintain dress code according to the standards that Lakeside Painting customers expect; Must wear clean Lakeside Painting shirt, painter’s whites or flooring grays. No cutoffs or tank tops. Must wear steel toed or composite shoes at all times Attend monthly safety meetings Possess good technical skills in terms of using hand & power tools Have tools and safety equipment with you. Keep track of your tools. They are your responsibility! If you need any tools ask the Foreman. Return all borrowed tools to the rightful owners
