I don’t want to be numb anyways. I play my guitar. I booked a flight to New York. I aced my courses. I take all my meds. I got the vaccine. I decorated my apartment. I hang out with friends. I went on a date. I worked out. I lost weight. I’ve wept. It’s as though nothing distracts me from your absence. I want to find my peace again.
