SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott High alumnus John Hogan has joined his hometown police department as its newest officer. Swampscott police said Officer Hogan joined the department last week from Nahant. Hogan worked in Nahant since 2009, including as a special police officer with the department from 2011 to 2014. Hogan grew up in Swampscott and graduated from Swampscott High.
