Press release from the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce : Dawn Lewis 03/22/2021 Moving Day at Winter Growth 5460 Ruth Keeton Way, Columbia, MD May 1, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. - Noon Moving Day is an inspiring and empowering annual fundraising walk event that unites people living with Parkinson's Disease (PD), their care partners and loved ones to help beat PD. Moving Day is more than just a walk. It is a celebration of movement - proven to help manage Parkinson's symptoms.  Moving Day will look a little bit different this year due to the pandemic. The safety of our participants, volunteer and staff is the Parkinson's Foundation top priority, which is why we are altering the tradition of a community walk to socially distanced Moving Day Drive-Thru. Our amazing cheer squad will greet participants attending this one-time event.  Everyone is invited to decorate their car with paint, streamers, balloons, posters and more. All decorated cars can submit an entry form to have a chance at winning a prize. Moving Day rewards will be available for pick up and donations can be dropped off to support the fight against Parkinson's. We would love for you to join us!
