RIDGEFIELD, CT - We are incredibly excited to announce that registration is now open for our Theater Barn Kids Spring Workshop! Miss Stacie and Miss Anya have developed a wonderful program with 3 unique workshops for your rising star. Classes will be held in our new and improved outdoor tented campus from April to June, with all social distancing and associated Covid protocols in place (read more about our Covid policy). And we're thrilled the RTB Kids will christen our new outdoor stage! Space is necessarily limited, so don't wait to register. If you're interested in registering more than one child, or for more than one class, discounts are available, just reach out to our Executive Director, Pamme Jones for details. A Musical Theater Workshop - 45 Minutes from Broadway This musical theater workshop, which starts the week of April 5th, celebrates the show tunes of George M. Cohan, including "Give My Regards to Broadway" and "You're a Grand Old Flag." Students will work on their acting, singing, and dancing skills while getting a glimpse into the "golden age" of musicals. This workshop will end with a "showcase style" performance - the goal being in-person on our new outdoor stage. Two classes being offered, one for grades 3-5, the other for grades 6-9Classes will meet outdoors once a week for an hour and a halfSpace is limited, so register today! More Information Register An Acting Workshop - 20 Plays In 20 Minutes It's a race against the clock in this madcap challenge to perform 20 plays in 20 minutes. Beginning the week of April 5th, students will work in small groups to create hilarious short skits and scenes. This is a great opportunity for kids to play a variety of characters and improve their comedic skills. Our goal is to have an in-person performance on our new outdoor stage. Two classes are being offered, one for grades 3-5, the other for grades 6-9Classes will meet outdoors once a week for an hour.Space is limited, so register today! More Information Register A Musical Workshop - The Best of Broadway Students will explore some of the best-loved movie musicals from the Golden Age to present time through lively class discussion and singing activities! Solo opportunities will be given to those interested and performed socially-distanced, outdoors, and on stage for the class. This workshop will meet outdoors once a week for an hour and is recommended for middle school kids. Space is limited, so register today!
