This position is responsible for ordering, receiving, storage and issuing of product and other related duties as assigned. Flexible Part time hours. Must work weekends and last day of each month. Hours may increase or decrease based on the needs of the hotel.
Essential Functions include:
• Coordinates with the Purchasing Director regarding all assigned duties
• Order product based on daily purchasing requisitions
• Receive product deliveries
• Verifies product quality, quantity, and price with vendor at the time of delivery
• Store product, FIFO, rotating stock as necessary
• Delivers product to various Hotel Departments
• Assists in monthly inventory
• Maintains a clean and orderly storeroom in accordance with Food and Beverage Policies
Minimum Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler’s Certificate
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass a drug test
Minimum Experience/Abilities:
• Minimum 21 years of age
• English verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to cooperatively interact with other hotel personnel in a professional manner
• Maintain a Professional appearance
• Prefer One-year experience in the Food/Beverage Industry
• Prefer a candidate with food and produce knowledge
