MANCHESTER, CT — A motor vehicle crash that took out a utility pole forced police to close part of Main Street in Manchester late Tuesday afternoon. The driver evaded the scene, police said. The closure on Main Street was from William Street to Strickland Street Entry to Main Street at Hilliard Street was also closed.
