21 Plus is a well-established non-profit organization dedicated to providing diversified opportunities to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities since 1979. We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to process agency payroll utilizing ADP Workforce Now, prepare bank reconciliations and other bookkeeping functions under the direction of the Finance Director. Job Description: 1. To oversee and monitor all aspects of payroll processing for all employees. · Processing weekly timesheets for payroll process utilizing ADP Workforce Now (WFN) · Review, track and distribute biweekly payroll and payroll deductions · Verify Employee Information Forms (EIF) entries in ADP are accurate on weekly basis. · Monitor and prepare all manual payroll check requests, record void checks and record general journal entries in the General Ledger for all ADP payment and withdrawal notices related to voids and manual checks. · Follow-up with staff/clients to ensure uncashed payroll checks are deposited. · Process and review for accuracy the Time and Attendance Pay Data Export file for import to WFN. · Maintain Payroll Tax records Quarterly 941and State report. · Review and verify the hours worked for the Crew Labor and Supported Employment customers including Ocean County Board of Social Services billing. · Process US Department of Labor Report and New Jersey Multiple Worksite Report (NJMWR) on monthly and quarterly basis. · Prepare and submit monthly overtime hours and earnings report to Executive and Finance Directors. 2. Prepare all monthly bank reconciliations for all agency bank accounts 3. Functions as backup for Accounts Payable and Cash receipts as needed. 4. Reconcile monthly food and gas receipts to the vendor statements on a timely basis. 5. Reconcile American Express credit card statement on a timely monthly basis to ensure all receipts are received and expenses recorded in the General ledger. 6. Cooperates fully with license and the Department of Human Services staff in all investigations and inspections. 7. Adheres to the organization's financial policies and procedures. 8. Adheres to all State and Federal rules and regulations. 9. Performs any other duties assigned by the Finance Director and/or Executive Director Qualifications: · Associates degree preferred; high school degree/GED required · Five years previous experience with bookkeeping and accounts payable function · Proficiency in MS Excel · Must have full knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable with emphasis on payroll.
