The Good Neighbor Walk is an opportunity to get outdoors with the family and explore the heart of Independence, MO all for a good cause!
The first ever Good Neighbor Walk will be held in downtown Independence on Saturday, May 8 from 10am-2pm. All proceeds from this event will benefit Harvesters-The Community Food Network in Kansas City.
The Good Neighbor Walk will be a great opportunity to get outside with friends and family while exploring the heart of downtown Independence. The event is sponsored by your Independence State Farm agents Lesley Siegfried, Alicia Allen, Phil Burress, Scott Davidson, Kim Noble, Houston Richards, Blake Roberson and Stacey Schell-Newland, and co-sponsored by the Independence Square and the Independence Chamber of Commerce..
The Good Neighbor Walk will follow the exact trail President Truman walked nearly every day, and there will be fun social media activities along the way to participate in! All proceeds raised will allow Harvesters of Kansas City to host a food distribution site in Independence.
Packet pickup will be on the day of the event at Liberty Lounge on Independence Square, located at 223 North Main Street. Participants may come at any time between 10am and 2pm to participate in the Walk.
