PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has shut down a Homewood market for numerous health violations. Adan Market on Frankstown Avenue is closed until further notice.
A recent inspection revealed the following:
Snacks chewed by rodents that included popcorn, sunflower seeds, potato chips and other items. Flats found with rodent droppings. The repackaging of commercially prepared ice.Employees smoking in the market.Expired milk.Coronavirus mandate violations that included required mask signage not posted, an employee not wearing mask and no social distancing.
