Burns Fencing, a fencing industry leader in Southern Maine, is seeking Fence Installers/Foremen to join our growing team! Fence Installers/Foremen are the front-line of our business, and Burns Fencing seeks to attract talented candidates who have a “can-do” attitude and are looking to be a long-term part of a growing team. This is a full-time position. Fencing industry experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. This position reports to a designated Crew Leader. Specific duties include: • Constructing, and installing fences using cedar, chain-link, vinyl, ornamental iron, and various other materials as needed • Loading and unloading vehicle at job sites • Follow established safety rules and regulations while maintaining a safe and clean work environment • Providing excellent customer service Work Conditions: • Applicants must be willing and able to work outdoors, in all elements • Applicants must be able to tolerate physical effort including the handling of objects (up to 80 pounds) • Able to safely work with a wide variety of equipment The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and competencies: • Desire to work in a result oriented, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment • Exceptional multi-tasking skills and strong attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet established deadlines • Able to communicate effectively Wage & Benefits: • Competitive wages • Opportunity to earn overtime • Competitive benefit package including health, Simple IRA, PTO, and Company Paid Holidays • Career advancement opportunities
