ELMHURST, IL — The Elmhurst Police Department made two battery arrests in recent days. Here is information from the reports:
Chester Harrison, 74, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Fair on a charge of battery. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Harrison grabbed another person's phone from his hands and threw it. Harrison told officers he was upset and took out his frustration on the other person.Zarayya Noble, 24, of Chicago, was arrested shortly before 2 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of West Lake on a warrant and on charges of domestic battery (two counts) and resisting a police officer. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, a person told police that Noble had battered him. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
