KANE COUNTY, IL — More than 60,000 people in Kane County were fully vaccinated against the coronavirus by Monday, public health data shows. That represents about 11.3 percent of the county's population. Nearly 170,000 doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered in Kane County, according to statistics from the Illinois Department of Public Health. New Coronavirus Cases Hit Record Lows In Kane County Kane County's vaccine rollout hit hew highs in mid-March, but it's slowed significantly over the past week. The county's seven-day rolling average of doses administered peaked at 4,186 on March 15, before dropping about 30 percent to 2,928 on Monday, the state's data shows. More than 6,100 doses were administered March 12, the most in a single day in Kane County. Just 4,730 doses were administered between Saturday and Monday.
