CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Starting this weekend, Cedar Lee Theatre customers can get a free popcorn with any purchase when they show their vaccination card. The offer is valid at both Cedar Lee Theatre and Chagrin Cinemas through April 30. Cedar Lee Theatre is open Friday through Sunday, but is closed Monday through Thursday. Cleveland Cinemas, which operates Cedar Lee Theatre, said the following health and safety protocols are in place: Customers will be required to wear face coverings while in the building commons areas, like the lobby and bathroomsSocial distancing markers will be place in the lobby to ensure customers are properly spaced outTouchless purchase options will be available at the box office and concession standCustomers will be encouraged to buy tickets onlineAuditorium seating capacity will be reduced 50 percent and seats and rows will be closed to ensure distancing during screeningsShowtimes will be spaced further apart to reduce lobby crowds and to allow for more time for cleaning and disinfectingTraffic flow into and out of the theater will be directed to minimize crowdsHand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the buildingStaff members will have health assessments before clocking inStaff members are required to wear face coverings while workingStaff members must wear gloves and frequently wash their handsEach shift will include a dedicated sanitation staffer who will ensure frequent touch points and surfaces are disinfectedPlexiglass dividers have been installed at registers For more information, visit Cleveland Cinemas website.
