Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District. The Northeast Health District added 59 new COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.Eight of those cases were in Oconee County, which saw an increase in its seven-day rolling average of added cases.Oconee County Schools reported a new positive test for COVID-19—at Oconee County High School.Clarke County saw a drop in its seven-day rolling average of added cases.The Northeast Health District added one death from COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped just slightly.Area hospitals reported a drop in COVID-19 patients, number of ICU beds in use, and number of adult ventilators in use.For details and for state comparisons, please click through to Oconee County Observations.
