Chino Valley AZ

Description

Hello snake owners. I wanted to ask if there's anyone in Chino Valley looking for a new rat breeder. I want to start up a project to breed specific personality traits, coat types, and long-term health. This means there's going to be a lot of flops starting out, rats with genetic aggression, wrong coats, and bad genetic health. There aren't many people crazy about owning pet rets so I thought it better to sell them as pre-killed food. I will not allow them to be fed alive as I think that's unethical in a domestic environment. I would want them to pass peacefully in a chamber that has soft blankets rather than being strangled in an unfamiliar environment. I might start the breeding project up in December, but I also need a new job soon so I will have to see where I am by December. So please don't get your hopes up about a new local breeder. I believe I'll have small, medium, and large rats available. I'm considering having younger rats as feeders too just to help pay the rat food bills. For those worried about the conditions the rats will be kept in, don't worry. I love rats and hate when rats are raised in feeder bins. I'll have multiple double and triple critter nation cages as homes and nurseries. They'll be fed daily treats and if there's an infestation of any sort of parasite, breeding will be halted and treatment will be given. They will be fed one of the highest qualities of food, oxbow rat food. They'll be given 105 qt dig boxes in each cage, hammocks, wheels, boxes, and fabrics to nest in and chew. Homemade chew toys and hanging toys will be provides and cages will be cleaned twice a week. If you try to purchase a living rat as a pet I will want to see the housing you will provide via video chat. I will not accept pictures as evidence that you have housing for the rats. This is to reduce the risk of rats being purchased as live feeders. For those who have questions, I encourage sending them to me. I'm working out details and am trying to type out my personal guidelines to keep the rats happy and healthy.
