The Menomonie Housing Authority is seeking an individual to work full-time under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or other appropriate administrative staff, job duties to consist of: unit turnaround, including painting, sheetrock repair and cleaning, responsible for the general maintenance and/or minor repairs to all buildings and grounds, operate lawn care snow removal equipment and to do related tasks as required. The successful candidate needs to be knowledgeable in methods used in janitorial work as it relates to supplies, equipment and materials. Ability to make minor repairs to buildings and equipment, ability to understand verbal and written instructions, and ability to perform various clean-up and maintenance tasks as required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and two years of experience in either building construction or maintenance work in one or more of the standard trades, such as carpentry, plumbing and electrical. Must possess a valid WI driver’s license.
