Sincere apologies as this is now my second posting (for real this time). I had previously posted that our male flop rabbit Murray was up for adoption. My wife then had second thoughts about giving him away.
Our main concern was that he be adopted by a caring and loving family with experience with rabbits. We've heard terrible stories about family's letting the rabbits loose in the wild after not being able to care for them.
Murray has really become a small part of our family. He is a very gentle and energetic rabbit, loves to play, push and chase his beach ball around the kitchen then nibble celery sticks.
One of our main contingency's on adoption is that we are able to speak to the adopting family on the telephone. I'm not going to simply drop him off at some random home.
We really love Murray and do not want to give him away, he's just a little too much for us to handle right now.
He's somewhat potty trained as he can pee on a pad, but due to the freedom we give him, he poops a lot all over the place (inside of his contained area, not really when he's hopping around the house). We adopted him from our babysitter and we are unsure if he is neutered.
Any family would love this guy as he loves being pet and is very friendly.
We also have this penthouse double decker rabbit cage that we would love to sell for a very affordable and fair amount of money.
