Duties and responsibility • Assist with haul, block and launching boats • Perform general boat maintenance and service work to include, but not limited to: waxing, bottom painting and zinc replacement • Work closely with the Yard Manager and assist fellow crewmembers as needed • Grounds maintenance and marina cleanliness • Availability to work overtime when required • Carry out additional duties as assigned by Yard Manager Technical and Physical Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous marina experience preferred (will train the right candidate) • Ability to ascend and descend a ladder • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Ability to work in confined spaces • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Boat handling skills a plus Minimum skills qualifications • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Positive attitude and willingness to learn • Able to take direction and work as a team • Ability to provide excellent customer service and an understanding of customers’ needs • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills while working both independently and within a team context • Organizational skills are a must • Detail oriented and ability to multitask are essential skills • Eager to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading company
