Seeking Mechanic to help me buy a good car

Hello I am in Everett area and I am looking for a mechanic whom I can hire to come to look at cars with me and make sure I don't get ripped off. I lost my last car (A Subaru Outback 1996) due to blown head gaskets and she lasted me four years. This next car, however, I plan to take to California (Heck, possibly even Atlanta) and I NEED it to not fail me. My budget for car is used, under 5K. Preferably Subaru again if I get lucky and find one that won't get blown gaskets. Maybe I'll try Impreza this time. I'm a 29 year old average dude who is NOT experienced enough to judge whether a car's inside's are healthy or not. So I will pay you a certain amount to just be free to come when I need you, now my work schedule is Monday-Thursday (off around 5 PM). So it could be sporadic...until I buy one. Like I might text you or something and be like, "Hey, can you come to look at a car with me in like an hour?". Or we could schedule it farther out. It depends on how nice the car looks to me. By the way, you'd be driving us since well...I'm CARLESS! Lol.
