AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to maintain a 44 unit apartment community in Huachuca City, AZ. Experience in general building maintenance and landscape is preferred. An apartment is NOT included. The position is Part time, 30 hours per week and pays $16.00/per hour ALL APPLICANTS MUST REPLY TO: POSITION #KC-2256 Requirements: -Valid Drivers License -Reliable Transportation -Authorized to work in the United States Qualifications: -Good communication skills -Computer literate (Word, Excel, MSOutlook) -Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff -Strong organizational skills -Ability to follow written instructions -Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines -Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful -General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) -General grounds keeping skills -Ability to manage emergency situations Responsibilities: -Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors -Assist with annual apartment inspections identifying action items -Report violations of lease and house rules -Timely completion of maintenance request work orders; ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met -Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies -Perform preventative maintenance duties -Maintaining excellent curb appeal -Follow policy and procedures Benefits: -Paid Vacation and sick leave -Medical -401k -10 Holidays per year PLEASE IDENTIFY POSITION #KC-2256 in the subject line of your email, or on all correspondence so that we can be sure to forward your information to the correct Regional Manager.
