The mental illness you talk about, is a direct result of Liberal/Progressives throwing a tantrum and getting rid of State funded Mental Facilities, or "Looney Bins", because they were looked upon as being 'cruel and unusual punishment' for crazy people. Picture tile floors, concrete walls, TV droning in the corner, everyone walking around in pajamas, mellowed out on some really choice meds. The thing is, Crazy people have always existed, but now they are in our faces a lot more, because we can't put them away in a facility. Decades ago, to make the overly-sensitive Liberal snowflakes happy, mental hospitals were "cancelled", and the mentally ill are now living on the street, camping on the sidewalks, squatting in abandoned houses, etc. They're all over the place, but you'll mostly see them concentrated in large cities where there are lots of bleeding-heart liberals. It would be nice to see state mental hospitals make a comeback, so we could get a lot of these looneys off the streets, but it will never happen while Democrats are in charge.
