Praying for mass shooting victims

Catharsis..... My heart is aching and completely broken after Boulder King Soopers mass shooting. I pray for the victims and their families. I don't understand why people cannot live peacefully with each other? I am a Muslim and afraid that some people might start blaming the entire Muslim community since the suspect is a Muslim. I just want to clarify that Islam "never" permits killing innocent people. The holly Quran says; "Whoever kills an innocent human being, it shall be as if he has killed all mankind. And whoever saves the life of one person, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind.” (Qur’an, 5:32) God bless all of us!!!
