Pool World is looking to hire full time seasonal pool technicians in our Burlington location for the 2021 season. Pool service experience and/or basic knowledge of plumbing or HVAC is preferred but is not required as there are many on-the-job training opportunities. Hired individuals will be placed with a lead technician and expected to help with every aspect of pool service including but not limited to: DUTIES: Opening and Closing of swimming pools Installing new pool equipment Diagnosing and repairing pool equipment, plumbing lines and more Maintaining swimming pools (vacuuming, testing, cleaning etc) Providing excellent customer service Maintaining high standards of professional and ethical conduct Maintain a safe and clean work environment including company vehicles Complying with all safety procedures Complete all required paperwork (work orders etc) correctly and in a timely manner Perform routine pool maintenance Other duties as assigned IDEAL CANDIDATES SHOULD: Be motivated, responsible, punctual & dependable Possess a valid, clean drivers license Be willing and able to work outdoors in all weather (rain or shine) Ability to lift at least 50 lbs on a regular basis Possess strong verbal & written skills to fill out required daily paperwork BENEFITS: Paid sick leave time Paid Holidays Employee Discount DAYS / HOURS REQUIRED: Monday – Friday 7:45 am until daily work completed (usually 4 – 6 pm) 38- 40+ hours a week with all hours over 40 paid at time and a half. Our season generally begins mid April and runs through Mid- Late October.
