Property management company currently looking for a maintenance technician with a certified electrical background, who would also work with our general maintenance team. You will also be responsible for ensuring facilities are functional and assist with apartment turnovers. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is a must. The ideal candidate would be a certified electrician, have experience in basic knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, experience using hand and electrical tools, good communication and interpersonal skills. Job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to; Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues at properties and in tenanted units. Performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, painting etc Installing appliances and equipment Conducting maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Reporting to a Maintenance Manager for task assignments and issues Drivers license and clean driving record a MUST!
