University K9 is hiring for a part-time and/or full-time position. Looking for 1-2 6:30am staff at this time, but may need afternoon-evening staff. Experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person. This is a physical job. You will be on your feet all day. Dogs bark constantly. So if sensitive to noise, this is not the job for you. We are Covid compliant. You typically work alone or with one other person. Masks required with clients.
Requirements:
- Passion and love for all animals
- Outstanding work ethic
- Attention to detail, safety, and cleanliness
- Must be reliable and responsible
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Good with people
Some duties include:
- Daily sanitizing and disinfecting of all kennels and runs
- Laundry, dishes, waste removal, vacuuming, mopping
- Bathing, brushing
- Customer Service
- Supervising doggy daycare groups and play time
We are located near Sunnyside and 101.
