Lewisville Motor Company Inc. is looking for a full time Parts Puller. General Summary: Pull parts from pre-dismantled vehicles located in the yard. Parts could be loose or still attached, suspension parts, doors, quarter panels etc. Employee will need knowledge in part identification as well as prior mechanic and/or body work experience. The majority of this job's duties will be outside in all elements that can be managed safely. This person will also need to be able to assist in breaking down wheels and tires. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 1. The most important part of the Parts Puller position is quality control and parts inspection. 2. Safely remove parts from car, bring parts to the delivery and customer pickup area. 3. Mark all parts pulled so they are easily identifiable. 4. Help keep the yard area clean of scrap and things that could damage equipment. Required Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma/GED. Training/Schooling in any automotive program is a plus. Experience: Automotive mechanical or body repair experience a plus. Ability to identify damage and part types, employee must also have experience with a sawzall. Tools: Essential to have a complete set of standard and metric hand tools, and preferably should have tools from a brand that offers lifetime warranty.
