If you're looking for a wonderful companion dog, please visit the Wake County Animal Shelter TODAY. It's a beautiful day to come out and meet that special dog. We have many ages, breeds, sizes and all are looking for good homes. A few special dogs in need are: Diamond - 7yr old female hound, very gentle and quiet, walks excellent on a leash, has heartworms (needs treatment) Victor - 4yr old Shephard/Lab/Pit mix, eager to get out of shelter, anxious in kennel but perfect outside, gentle soul Logan - 11yr old precious Pit mix (VERY SWEET), loving soul, willing & able to go on long walks, loves people Tyson - 8yr old Pit mix, gentle and quiet soul, just needs a soft bed, good food and a companion, adores people Napoleon - 10yr old Lab/Shephard mix, gentle soul, brother adopted out separately, missing his brother, pls help Dru - 5yr old Pit mix, very good natured, excellent walker with volunteers, waiting on special family
