This very special dog named Victor has been at the shelter since February waiting on his new home. Most dogs go home very quickly, but Victor has been anxious in his kennel and not showing well. Once you take him outside he is completely calm and a perfect gentleman on a leash. Victor craves human attention so his time here at the shelter is not going great since he is in his kennel alone 24/7 except for the few short walks he gets by volunteers. He needs a loving environment where he can get attention. Victor also walks very slowly on a leash and sometimes prefers to just sit and look at his surroundings so he would not necessarily need a fenced yard if you enjoy going for short walks. Victor has stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers and we are pulling for him to get a great home. Victor here. I am a people dog and need to be with my human friends. When I'm outside or with people, I am well behaved (I promise!). I am just not happy being in this kennel so I make as much noise as possible to get your attention. I do like to go on long walks and I walk great, but do pull some if other dogs go by. I just need a little training and to have a normal routine and I will settle down. I have also been in doggy playgroups here at the shelter and did will with other dogs, however I am a little rambunctious. I don't take clues about when the other dog doesn't want to play anymore. I would do best as the only dog or if you have a very tolerant dog that doesn't mind someone else in their space. I'm a big hunk of love waiting for a family to adopt me.
