Pool Cleaning Technician/Pool Equipment Repair Technician Carrollton-based, family-owned pool business is seeking a part-time (nearly full-time) person to clean and maintain pools for 3 days a week (moving to 4) in the Carrollton area. This is a part-time position with the likelihood to become full-time in the very near future. Ideally, candidate will also have some experience and ability to make small equipment repairs/do minor problem solving, but that is not required (although anyone interested in only repairs should please reach out). Pay is very competitive. ***DESCRIPTION -- For now, the job is to clean and maintain a well-organized pool route for 3 days a week. Ideally, this would be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, but it is not set in stone. A 4th day will be added soon, so this is essentially a full-time position. -- MUST provide own pickup truck. Fuel will be paid for. -- Basic starting equipment will be provided to perform the job. Chemicals will be provided. -- Ideal candidate is someone with pool experience looking for part-time/full-time work, or someone who is capable, somewhat mechanically inclined, and somewhat of a perfectionist. Experience is very helpful but definitely not required. -- Prefer someone who is looking for a fairly long-term arrangement. This is a family-owned operation, and we want to establish a long-standing relationship. -- We operate year round. -- Extra money can be made cleaning filters and doing repairs, if able. ***REQUIREMENTS -- Must own and provide pickup truck, with insurance. -- Have valid driver's license. -- Own smart phone with GPS to locate pools, and to communicate with customers if needed. -- Ability to speak and write in English reasonably well. -- Have some knowledge and experience in pool cleaning and equipment. -- Physically able to do the job, take the heat, and work in rain if need be. -- Have presentable, professional appearance. Uniforms are not worn, but must dress cleanly and respectfully. -- Most importantly, must be reliable and trustworthy, and have a sense of perfectionism regarding doing the job well.
