Job Description Harter's Disposal is a family owned, multi-generation, and growing company. We currently have an opportunity for a Class B CDL driver. We seek drivers who are able to work in a fast-paced environment. Driver's are home every afternoon with very competitive compensation packages and year end bonuses. Job Summary: Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on various commercial, and residential routes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair. • Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch before attempting service. • Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed. • Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer’s location clean and free of debris. • Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route. Qualifications : • Must be 21+ years of age. • Eligible to legally work in the United States. • Acceptable driving record required.
