A & L Iron and Metal Company General labor/Torch cutting position available Full time, entry level position Mon - Fri, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with overtime available! Skills & Experience: - Prior knowledge of working with heavy equipment, general hand & power tools Oxy-Propane Torches, preferred but not required. Willing to train the right individual. - Be able to move around to different parts of yard when needed for work to be done Work Conditions: - If you are a motivated individual and do not mind working outside and getting dirty, come join our team! - All work for the position will be outdoors in all types of weather and conditions (excluding dangerous weather) - Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift more than 50 lbs - Required safety equipment, provided by the company, must be worn during all active job duties Compensation & Benefits - Starting compensation for the position will be discussed during interview with an opportunity for wage increase after 3 month probationary period based on attendance and performance. - A & L Iron and Metal Company provides health benefits, after 3 months, to its employees which includes Primary health care coverage, dental, and vision - Paid vacation (eligible after 90 days) and Holidays (eligible after 1 year) available, as well as growth in the company from starting position.
