SIGN ON BONUS $250 after 90 days, and $250 after 6 months POSITION PURPOSE Clean guest rooms in accordance with established quality and performance standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean guest rooms for sale. Clean occupied guest rooms. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards.  Organize and stock cleaning cart and organize linen closets on floors assigned.  Complete accurately, and in a timely manner, any assigned paperwork.  Report any items missing from rooms and suites.  Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.  Scrupulously follow all safety guidelines, i.e.: blocking open door with cart.  Protect guest safety and well-being; follow all policies and procedures, i.e.  Greet all guests with warm, friendly welcome; inquire about their well-being. Physical Demands  Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.  Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.  Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.  Must be able to exert well-paced ability in limited space.  Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.  Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach different floors of the hotel on a timely basis.  Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.  Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, and other employees.  Vision occurs continuously with common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.  Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education High school or equivalent education preferred. Experience Prior Room Attendant experience preferred. Prior hospitality experience desired. Schedule Must have seven day a week availability; shifts are generally 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., must be able to work varying shifts based on business and client demand, including weekends and holidays as necessary.
