Links to apply are: If you have questions regarding the position feel free to call Ty or Yazonta at 913-422-6476. _______________________________________ Job Description FAST Solutions Support - Assembly Technician 9911 Woodend Road, Edwardsville, KS 66111 Part-Time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00 AM-5:00 PM 10 - 28 hours/week OVERVIEW: Working as Part-Time FAST Solutions Support, in our FMI Service Center, you will assist the team with the configuration and setup of our various industrial vending and bin/inventory managed devices. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Setting up FAST Solutions Equipment o Customizing product trays used to dispense products based on assembly instructions o Utilizing quality control checklists to ensure device(s) pass all tests prior to shipment o Preparing devices for shipment to the customer o Assisting with ordering, maintaining and picking inventory o Cleaning or repairing devices prior to assembling them o Communicating with the department manager and Fastenal branches o Maintaining a clean and safe work environment o Complying with safety regulations o Assisting with various other projects, as needed REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o 18 years of age or older o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient computer skills o Attention to detail and a sense of urgency o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented o Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule o Ability to lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weigh up to 70lbs o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: o Mechanically inclined ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to approximately 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
