Job Description Specializing in weddings and a leading caterer in the Philadelphia region, JAM Catering (www.jamcater.com) is currently searching for a handyman! This individual will work in our construction division. Willing to train the right person! • Must be available to work a variety of hours – can be as early at 6 am, some long hours, and some weekends included. Must be reliable and on-time. • Work in a variety of temperatures, including outside in non-climate controlled conditions. • Valid driver’s license. Doesn’t need a vehicle, Must be able to drive a 16 foot box truck. (Workers meet at the Lansdowne, PA location in the morning and leave together.) • Must be able to lift up to 80-100 pounds, walk, stand, squat, sit, walk, push, and pull, use of hands, fingers, and have peripheral vision. • Handyman experience a plus, including use of a variety of work tools – will be painting, repairing, cementing, constructing, etc. • Will train the right person, but they must be detailed oriented and able to follow directions. • Will work independently as well as in a team. A positive demeanor and ability to get along with a diverse team is key. • Able to understand basic directives given in English. We provide gloves and tools; the employee should be appropriately dressed for construction work (heavy jeans, work boots, etc.). Job Type: Full-time - We pay by check only - No Cash
