Description

Responsible for operating a variety of equipment for groundwork and construction purposes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights safely and efficiently • Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the supervisor • Follow directions of manager as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project • Operate and maintain various vehicles, machinery and other equipment used at the site • Lift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies • Responsible for upkeep of tools and work area • Perform other duties as assigned OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: previous experience and knowledge of safe operation in regards to heavy equipment Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
