Big Creek Construction Currently seeking to hire General Laborers in the Rockdale area. Laborer Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Safely perform any combination of following duties on construction projects usually transferring from one task to another * Measures distance from grade stakes, drives stakes & stretches tight line * Bolts, nails, aligns and blocks up under forms * Signals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery to conform to grade specifications * Levels earth using pick or shovel * Finishes freshly poured cement or concrete using float, trowel or screed * Performs flagging duties as needed * May operate small equipment including bobcat, tractor, or roller or move from one site to another. YOU MUST * Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test * Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisor and the general public at all times * Willing to travel and work away from home when required * Report to work at the designated start time * Be able to work overtime when required * Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold * Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA * Be at least 18 years of age due to nature of working environment Apply online at www.bigcreekconstruction.com EOE, MINORITIES and WOMEN ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY
