We are looking for an experienced Civil Construction Superintendent with a strong background in safety procedures and general knowledge in all trades of construction. As a Superintendent, you will organize and oversee construction projects and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, you will plan, implement, and oversee the employee safety at work to ensure compliance to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to reduce work-related injuries. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different trades to achieve the best results. You must have an analytical mind, great organizational skills and the ability to train others. This is a traveling position; you must be able to travel for weeks at a time. You must be able to pass a drug test periodically. You must be able to work long-hour days (10+ hrs/day). Requirements: - Exceptional written and oral communication skills. - Proven experience as a construction Superintendent. - In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - A team player with leadership abilities - Cal OSHA Certification (If you don’t have it, you must be able to get certified within the first three months of employment). - Current CA Driver License. - Must be able to travel. - Must be able to pass drug test randomly. - Must be physically fit to work long-hour days.
