I played a gig on Friday in N.E. Philly that was waaay overcrowded and barely a mask in sight. As someone who is classified as "high-risk," I only accepted the gig knowing that masks would be worn and social distancing would be adhered to. Neither were. The O.P.'s point is that this is only going to get worse if these bars don't enforce safety. Maybe you'd like it if we have to have an emergency curfew like Miami did? They did such a great job? Highest increase in Covid cases in the country. Pat yourselves on the back! Wolf has no problem shutting the state down again, so why play with fire? Bars can still be open to serve the public and even have us bands play, but it really would be helpful to EVERYONE to have a little common sense on safety. Why is that so hard to understand? No need for the name calling. Why not care for yourself AND fellow musicians instead of just yourself. Be a f*#&in' adult.
