I can help you with how to: - build a song around any idea- whether it's a lyric, riff, melody, chord sequence, etc. - get out of your head and work faster while maintaining quality - make parts of songs jump out and be more memorable - always have something to write about - pair lyrics with melodies and vice versa (even if they don't seem like they go together!) - build a melody from scratch, to chords, to a riff, etc. - harmonize a melody - write to a title - write interesting lyrics and make every part have a function - break down the songs you like in order to understand why they work - break down your own songs and target the parts that aren't working for improvement - apply theory to songwriting (and if you have no experience in this area- it's easy!) - use the guitar for songwriting (I also give guitar lessons) - write lyrics or melodies first (or simultaneously) - rewrite your old and future songs - write while away from your instrument - take productive breaks from writing ...and much more!
