Contractor for Facilities Needing Delivery Driver for linen Local Laundry is looking to hire driver for Multi-route routine. Under general supervision, our drivers are responsible for providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of soiled and clean linen with an emphasis on safety and customer service. Essential Duties: • Receive daily route information • Safely transport linens, Unload truck and deliver carts to destination in facility, Pick up soiled carts from location inside facility, Must pick up all linen from floors and other locations, plus other related materials • Strictly observe operating policies, procedures, and service schedules • Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior • Present a professional image to clients and public through appearance and interaction • Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients • All other job-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: • High School or equivalent • Must be a minimum of 21 years old •Valid and current driver's license •Clean driving history •Ability to complete and maintain satisfactory completion of specialized training regarding the transportation of goods with special handling requirements including but not limited medical products • Ability to follow procedures closely • Familiarity working with or adapting to technology • Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50lbs • Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test Weekend Saturday/Sundays as scheduled All driver positions under random driver drug test agreement Physically able to push and pull 50lb or more Must be able to perform physical requirements daily We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage Retirees and Veterans to apply.
