5 beautiful solid grey 8 week old degus to rehome. These are pets only not feeders!! Please make sure you are knowledgeable about the breed before contacting! These are colony animals and must be kept in pairs of at least 2. They need a large cage and tons of chews as their teeth never stop growing. They can be feed guinea pig food (the lind without fruit) and timothy hay. They are prone to diabetes so they cannot be given anything sweet including fruit. They do enjoy fresh greens. They can jump extremely high so the cage must have a top on it and no more than a 1/2 inch spacing! They also need toys especially a wheel but only a plastic one the metal wheels have been known to injure and even kill them. They can loose their tails, but they do grow back.
