Nyx is an adult female leopard gecko who was surrendered to us on 1/15. She had a vitamin A deficiency and stuck shed in her eyes, so she could not see and was losing weight. Luckily with proper treatment, her eyes have opened and her appetite is returned. She is a little skittish of people, likely due to the medications she had to take, but she is a sweet gecko and will likely come around with gentle handling. Her adoption fee is $30. PLEASE READ! If you are interested in adopting Nyx, you need to fill out an application at www.bewildnc.org/apply. Read the application carefully and answer the questions thoroughly. Above all, be honest! Research the species you would like to adopt in advance and consult multiple sources, we are happy to answer questions. Adopters agree to pick-up the animal in Durham within 7 days of their approval. Due to the current pandemic, adoptions will be performed with social distancing in mind.
